Married at The Hartwood

There’s something incredibly meaningful about photographing a wedding day—not just for the beauty of it, but for the why behind every moment. From the very beginning, Jolie and Caleb’s day at The Hartwood was filled with peace, laughter, and so much gratitude. It was the kind of day that reminds you why marriage matters and why God’s design for it is so beautiful!

Every part of their wedding day pointed back to what truly matters: faith, commitment, and choosing each other daily with the Lord at the center. There was prayer, there were joyful tears, and there was a deep sense that God’s presence was woven through every moment—big and small.

The Hartwood in Selma, NC was the perfect setting for their day! They were married under the open setting of the chapel. Surrounded by nature and the people who love them most, Jolie and Caleb promised forever, and I don’t think there was a dry eye by the end their vows. The way they looked at each other said it all—this wasn’t just a wedding day, it was the beginning of a lifetime.

Photographing days like this is such an honor. Getting to capture genuine joy, faith, laughter, and family is a reminder that wedding photography is about so much more than pretty pictures—it’s about preserving the story God is writing.
